A three dimensional fabric wall hanging. The painted background is covered with free-form 3-D wool applique hollyhock flowers. Flowers and leaves have unfinshed edges. Blossoms are gathered and layered for great depth and texture. Hollyhocks was featured in the premier issue of Art Quilting Studio magazine.
